Thousands of people packed the streets of the Village of Saugerties on Sunday, July 7 to check out the vintage cars and trucks as they roared back onto Partition, Main and Market streetsĀ as part of the 20th annual Sawyer Motors Car Show. Parents and grandparents showed their kids and grandkids the cars and pick-up trucks that had enlivened their youth.
Seven different bands performed on each corner. Sawyer Motors owner Bob Siracusano, who organizes the show, said he expected over 500 cars to attend this year and he hoped to break the $1 million mark in all-time proceeds from the show given out to charities and families with a child suffering from illness.
