Step into a personal forest journey with a transmedia solo exhibition from longtime local creative Dakota Lane titled Conditions for Growth. Spanning a decade of Lane’s work, the exhibition explores themes of resiliency, recovery, and growth through more than 25 pieces. Visitors will encounter mini-installations, a visual memoir, new monoprints, photographs, ritual objects, and hand-painted prose, all evoking the intimacy of a personal journal. Lane, a seasoned Hudson Valley teaching artist and New York Times journalist, draws from her experiences in the forest and as a Tibetan Buddhist student.
