Get ready to pedal for a cause as The Ride for Mental Health hits the road this weekend in New Paltz. This annual event made its post-pandemic comeback last year, drawing hundreds of cyclists and raising over $215,000 dollars to support mental health. The ride is now pandemic-proof in the sense that you can participate from anywhere in the world with the “Virtual Rider” option, tracking your own mileage and elevation as you bike the path of your choice. All registered riders, including virtual participants, will receive a 2024 Ride for Mental Health jersey from Hincapie Sportswear. Participants can also set up personal donor pages to raise funds for the education, research, and treatment of mental illness. Find more information at rideformentalhealth.org.
