The Friends of the Saugerties Library held its annual library fair on Saturday, June 1. It featured the ever-popular book, plant and bake sale. This year’s live entertainment was provided by illusionist Tommy Baker and an audience-participation sing-along by Saugerties Sings, a group that was formed just a few months ago. The group is looking for additional members. If you are interested, email founder Gerri Ryan at fiddlestitchtoday@gmail.com. A variety of games for kids occupied a large section of the library’s grassy yard and booths featuring community organizations spilled into the street.
