At the July 6 New Paltz Town Board meeting, the board accepted and approved the retirement of Sergeant Duke L. Bunce II as a police officer from the New Paltz Police Department, effective July 23. A walkout ceremony to congratulate him for serving with the New Paltz Police Department for 20 years was held this past weekend.
