Village of New Paltz eyes water and sewer improvements

A federal grant is being sought to help pay for desired improvements to the Village of New Paltz water and sewer systems north of Main Street. If awarded, the money would be used for improvements to the sewage pumping station on North Chestnut Street and to complete a water loop connection the Huguenot and North Chestnut street lines. Another grant has also been sought for the latter project.
