Onteora Assistant Superintendent for Business Monica LaClair is leaving her position and board members expressed their gratitude for her service and dedication.
“Every family knows how hard you work and they may not know how far reaching the effects of your office… and the other administrators who have left and are leaving… and so I just want to thank you,” trustee Kevin Salem said.
“We appreciate your financial stewardship,” board president Laurie Osmond said.
“She has been incredibly supportive since I walked back in the door after being gone for three years, available nights and weekends to answer any questions no matter what,” Corsones said.
“And she certainly has given a lot to this district, the students, the staff and the community. And I very sadly wish her best of luck in her new position. She will definitely be missed.”
Trustee Valerie Storey also thanked LaClair for her service.
“I don’t need to reiterate what everybody has said. But you will be missed,” she said.
