Drug charges
Joseph T. Storm, 35, homeless and, town police said, under the influence of oxycodone at the time, was charged with the misdemeanor of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 7:15 p.m. on the evening of March 9. According to police, Storm was impeding traffic on Main Street in the village, stumbling across the two lanes of traffic before officers arrived. He was transported under the New York State Mental Hygiene law to Kingston Hospital for a medical evaluation, and will appear in Village court on March 23.
Unlawfully imprisoned
Adan Rueda-Vasquez of Saugerties, 32, was charged with the misdemeanor of second-degree unlawful imprisonment, town police said, after allegedly holding down a victim and refusing to let them leave his Partition Street residence during a domestic dispute at 1:01 a.m. on March 6. He will appear in Village Court later this month.
