Infamous quotes

Do you recognize these infamous quotes?

“How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don’t think.”

“The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one.”

“The broad masses of a population are more amenable to the appeal of rhetoric than to any other force.”

“Success is the sole earthly judge of right and wrong.”

“The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.”

“It’s not the truth that matters, but victory.”

“I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few.”

“I do not see why man should not be just as cruel as nature.”

“Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardice.”

“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

“The very first essential for success is a perpetually constant and regular employment of violence.

“All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.”

“By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise.”

The aforementioned are quotes from the writings of Adolf Hitler.

Paula Mooney, in her article (March 18, 2016) regarding the dissolution of the Trump’s first marriage, reported that Ivana complained that Donald used to study Hitler’s writings and kept them by his bedside.

I wonder if the general public is picking up on the methods of communication being used by the present administration. Do you remember Trump’s quote (February 24, 2016) “I love the poorly educated.”

William Hayes
Saugerties

To Saugerties Police Chief Mr. Joseph Sinagra.

I haven’t been able to get any satisfactory answers to the multiple questions I’ve asked of you involving the alleged wrongdoings, connected to the home of my Mother Ann Bach.

Regarding the break-in and weapons theft occurring at her residence on January 28, 2016, I was told
by police that there weren’t any police reports for me to FOIL yet, a year and a half later, I submitted a Foil request on July 10, 2017, and received them.

The evidence shows, however, that the original Detective’s Supplemental Report was written and then filed on July 20, 2017, ten days after I had requested it. So Chief, is this normal procedure? What if I didn’t file the Foil, then what?   Would police still have filed the Police Reports and recorded the missing and stolen weapons? Why didn’t the police file the reports after they closed the case on May 10, 2016?

Likewise, in conjunction with the missing and stolen guns, there’s evidence that shows that Town Police had full knowledge of (2) allegedly illicit NYS pistol license applications that listed their addresses as being the vacant residence of Ann Bach.  (February 2016).

Moreover, someone other than Ann Bach signed her name to a Town of Saugerties Agricultural Exemption and multiple Time Warner checks raising the question of forgery.

Now, Chief, the gun thefts, forgeries, break-ins, and those pesky pistol permits are serious business, so, what have you done to resolve these matters?

John Charles Bach
