A newly honored New York State Blues Hall of Fame inductee, singer/songwriter Willa Vincitore brings her take on modern bluescraft to Unison in New Paltz on Saturday, April 27. For this intimate set, Vincitore will be accompanied by two of the region’s hardest-working cats, fellows who haven’t learned “no” very well: the poly-roots drummer Roger LaRochelle, as comfortable with intricate Balkan beats as with a warm, traditional blues shuffle, and the New Paltz keyboard whiz Scott Milici. Vincitore’s songwriting is an eclectic mix of blues, soul, rock, funk and occasional pop. Tickets cost $25, with discounts for seniors and Unison members.
