The Saugerties Stallions announced a four-year commitment totaling $20,000 donation to the Saugerties Little League “Light it Up” program.
The four $5,000 donations will be put toward of the installation of lights on Thornton Field, one of two fields at the Cantine Veterans Memorial Complex that lack lights.
Stallions President Kevin Hinchey stated, “We are all very proud to be able to contribute to this great cause. Donations like this is what the Stallions’ organization is about. It is our mission to give back to the Saugerties community.”
The Saugerties Stallions are a collegiate level baseball team and a member of the Perfect Game Baseball League. They play their home games at the Cantine Veterans Memorial Complex, which includes several baseball fields.
