On New Year’s Eve, Ashokan Talent puts the sanctified space at the Bearsville Theater to a purpose that it has often fulfilled: the celebration and reconsideration of the music of the Grateful Dead. Gratefully Yours, the long-running Dead tribute band that plays “ideal setlists” submitted by fans, will be joined by Deadgrass, the regional group that reinterprets the music of the Dead and of Jerry Garcia in a traditional bluegrass ensemble format. Deejay Justin Case with emcee Bianca Boom will be on hand to keep the party rolling. General admission costs $30. Balcony seats go for $40, and VIP tables are available for $100 and include a bottle of Prosecco.
