Skank to the beat with the NYC Ska Orchestra, a 20-piece big band bringing a brass-blasted twist to classic Jamaican sounds. This powerhouse ensemble revives the golden eras of ska, mento, rock steady, reggae, and jazz with fresh arrangements and original tunes that fuse big band energy with island rhythms. Led by trumpeter and arranger Kevin Batchelor, the group features legendary Jamaican percussionist Larry McDonald, master drummer Carl Wright, and standout vocalists Pallavi Gummalam and Aida Brandies Hargrove, backed by an all-pro NYC lineup.
