Hudson Valley Humanists talk evolution

The February monthly meeting of the Hudson Valley Humanists will be held this Sunday, February 19, 6 p.m., at the New Paltz Community Center, located at 3 Veterans Drive in New Paltz. Psychology professor and director of the Evolutionary Studies Program at SUNY New Paltz, Glen Geher, will lead a panel including a few of his students to talk about their work in evolutionary psychology. This will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

The group will be collecting toiletries and other necessities for Family of New Paltz. The meeting will end with coffee and cake in honor of Charles Darwin’s 208th birthday.

All are welcome. For more information, e-mail auer1@att.net.
