joe-Nicholson-SQA “Celebration of a Life: Joseph Nicholson, March 15, 1963 – May 30, 2015” will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, beginning with a gathering at Woodstock Fire Company No. 4, 443 Zena Road, Woodstock. Friends and relatives will be recollecting Joe’s life events, sharing stories, and there will be an opportunity for all friends and family to read or make a statement of remembrance or well wishes.

At 4 p.m. there will be a vehicle procession to several of Joe’s favorite places in and around Woodstock for ceremonial distribution of ashes: Suggested places include Dog Park, Library grounds, the Dam at Cooper Lake, Big Deep, Magic Meadow and Onteora Lake. At 5:30 p.m., all will return to Company 4 Fire Station for a picnic meal. Joe’s family will provide the food and drink.

All are invited to email to Jeff Nicholson, Joe’s brother, a statement or recollection, love or remembrance to be read at the Memorial.

A scrapbook of statements will be compiled to use and share at the Memorial.  Send to Jeff.G.Nicholson@gmail.com.
