Farm Animal Day at the Saugerties Farmers Market will be Saturday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come to the petting zoo and watch tortoises meander and hold chicks, bunnies, ducks and hedgehogs. See the fainting goat, miniature horse, donkey and llama. Pony rides start at 11 a.m. Art Lab will provide materials and instructions to make egg carton art, and Anita Barbour will help children create their own origami pieces.
