Will enough candidates step forward for next month’s School Board race?
As of April 11, only two candidates had applied for petitions to run for the four seats up for election May 20.
Petitions are available at the superintendent’s office in the Hildebrandt Building behind the Junior Senior High School on Washington Ave. between 8 and 4 p.m. Candidates must collect 45 signatures and return them by Monday, April 21. The building will be closed April 17 and 18, but will open April 21 from 3-5 p.m. to accept petitions.
