Copeland Funeral Home will hold a holiday remembrance service on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. “In preparation for the upcoming holidays, we again wish to welcome back our families,” said Tim Copeland, owner of Copeland Funeral Home. “Our service held last year was extremely well received by the community and we heard a lot of positive feedback. Individuals gain strength when supported by others who share similar feelings and we look forward to opening our doors in an effort to bring folks together.”
The program will take place at the Copeland Funeral Home on South Putt Corners Road in New Paltz. This program is free of charge and open to all individuals who have experienced a loss. Speaking at this year’s program will be Kim Warner, LCSW, who is the director of Psychosocial Services at Hospice, Inc. A video tribute will be prepared for this occasion and photos are welcome from families who intend to join us. And as last year, luminaries will once again adorn the lawn of the funeral home, placed in memory of each person being honored. All are welcome to RSVP to 255-1212. Light refreshments will follow.
“It’s a tremendous honor for our own families to join us as we help others reflect on the year that has passed and help them prepare to cope with the year ahead,” said James Matus, funeral director.
