Unison’s 27th annual benefit auction will take place this Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Rosendale Community Center. The auction, sponsored by Ulster Savings Bank, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. with the silent auction beginning at 1 p.m. and the live auction following at 2:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be catered by Harvest Café. Highlights of this year’s auction include a one-week stay at a condo in Cancun, a weekend getaway at a studio apartment in Manhattan and a weekend at a summer cottage on Lake Champlain hosted by Carol Robins, Unison’s executive director, and her husband.

Auction co-chairs Tom Nolan and Joe Trapani have been working hard to make this the best Unison auction ever and will be offering many items, including family recreation activities, gourmet wines and baskets, arts and education classes, catered parties and entertainment activities galore.

“We will make this a party setting where everyone can support our local arts center and bring home fabulous gifts for themselves, friends and family, while having fun with the Unison community,” says Nolan.

“It feels great to spoil yourself and your favorite people — while supporting Unison,” says Robins. “The auction is what keeps Unison going and it is always a success because of our generous supporters — both our donors and buyers,” says Robins.

The $30 admission fee ($35 after Nov. 7) includes a selection of wine, abundant hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Call 255-1559 for more information or visit www.unisonarts.org/program/Auction.html.
