The 38th annual Walk Against Hunger will be take place in New Paltz this Sunday, Oct. 23. Registration for the New Paltz CROP Walk starts at 1 p.m. and the walk begins at 2 p.m. Meet at the corner of Plattekill Avenue and South Manheim Avenue. Walkers will proceed down Main Street to the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, head north to the bridge over the Wallkill River and back to the parking lot — approximately five miles. Sponsor sheets can be obtained at Family of New Paltz, area churches and synagogues or sponsor yourself on the day of the walk.
