In Loving Memory
Lisa Crumrine, a talented and beloved mosaic artist, passed away on January 6, 2025. She was known for her radiant spirit and her remarkable ability to transform ordinary materials into breathtaking works of art, capturing the essence of the beauty that surrounded her. Lisa’s creativity and passion for life were woven into every piece she created.
Lisa began her artistic journey with glass in St. John, US Virgin Islands, where she co-founded Syzygy Gallery with two other women. Over the years, she created stunning mosaic installations in many locations across the islands, and her smaller works were collected by art lovers worldwide.
In 2006, Lisa moved to Woodstock, New York, where she continued to create and showcase her art in several local galleries. In everything she did, Lisa spread love, light, and joy. Her presence was a gift to everyone who crossed her path, and her ability to live fully, love fully, and inspire others left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Lisa is survived by her loving and devoted partner, Scott Cluka; her beloved dog Darla; her brothers, Eric Werner and Bruce Werner and many other cherished family members and friends.
A Celebration of Light will be held in honor of Lisa on January 25th, from 12 – 2 PM at Pearl Moon Restaurant in Woodstock, NY. All are welcome to join in celebrating her beautiful life and the light she shared with the world.
