A three-vehicle crash on Rt. 28 in Shandaken led to two people being airlifted to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries on Sat., Oct. 4.
State police said that at approximately 1:39 p.m., they responded to a collision between three vehicles which led to the life-threatening injuries. Rt. 28 and Rt. 212 were immediately closed to traffic to allow for the accident scene to be cleared and a full investigation launched, which remains ongoing.
