The Woodstock Democratic Committee (WDC) will host the third of four candidates forums on May 31 at 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Woodstock town hall. This forum will discuss important issues related to development, housing and zoning. All candidates for supervisor and town council who are on the Democratic primary ballot for June are invited. Journalist Christine Dinsmore, who is not connected to Woodstock, will moderate the session.

Each session will be focused on a specific issue facing the town:

• June 8, 10:30 a.m. (Hornbeck Community Center) — Management and accountability (including issues facing the Woodstock Police Department) and closing statements

• June 22, 2 p.m. (town hall) Meet and greet

The first forum was held on May 8 and focused on the candidates’ qualifications, experience and vision for the town and had 150 in-person attendees. The second forum on May 22 focused on environmental, climate change and water quality issues with 90 in attendance.

The forums will be recorded and posted on the WDC website and YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@Woodstockdems).
