A well-known Kingston chiropractor and his wife faced multiple felony charges in Kingston City Court on Tuesday in connection with child pornography offenses.
John Boyle, 33, who operates Boyle Family Chiropractic in Kingston, has been accused of promoting and possessing illicit materials featuring minors, stemming from an investigation that began last year when the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children tipped off State Police about an explicit image of a minor shared on Snapchat.
The investigation led law enforcement to an account and IP address linked to Boyle. Additional flagged images were allegedly shared via Flingster, an adult chat site, and were traced to an Airbnb in Florida where Boyle and Scofield had stayed in August 2023.
A search warrant executed on Oct. 30, 2024, led to the discovery of over 1,300 images and 811 videos on Boyle’s phone, including depictions of necrophilia, bestiality, and bondage involving children and toddlers. Authorities stated that Boyle distributed at least 89 images via text and encrypted messaging services, Telegram and Session.
His wife, Danielle Scofield, also 33, was charged with promoting an obscene sexual performance of a child. Both pleaded not guilty and were released on a $200,000 bail bond, scheduled to return to court in April.
