Carey Harrison, novelist, playwright, and Brooklyn College professor of English, recently of St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, UK, and of Woodstock, New York, died on January 22nd at age 80 after a short illness.
The son of actors Sir Rex Harrison and Lilli Palmer, he is predeceased by his brothers Noel Harrison and Richard Butler. Carey is sadly missed and survived by his wife, Claire Lambe; daughters Chiara, Rosie, and Zoe, and son Sam; sons-in-law Adam and Joe; daughter- in-law Ricarda; grandchildren; beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends in the US and the UK.
