Kate Susan Blum died surrounded by her family at home on Monday, November 21, 2022, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 56 years old.
Born December 7, 1965, in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Blum and the late Penny Funt Blum. In 1998 she married Daniel Weeks. She earned her Master of Social Work from NYU and worked for various not for profit organizations in New York City and the Hudson Valley.
In the 30 years living in the Woodstock area, she became a beloved member of the community and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter Antonia, brother Joshua, sister Sarah, many dear and good friends, and her husband Daniel and cousins.
