Organizers of this year’s Zombie Crawl are getting an early start.
Ted Titus and Charles Potter were granted the blessing of village trustees at the April 20 meeting. The sixth annual Zombie Crawl is scheduled for Oct. 17.
This year’s event — “We’re off to see the zombies” — will have a “Wizard of Oz” theme. Participants will be invited to dress as zombified characters from the film.
Tickets will cost $5 and go on sale in August. Titus and Potter are also looking for sponsors.
During the event, participants dress as zombies and wander around the village, with several businesses getting into the spirit with specials and activities.
