One long-running New Paltz institution – Unison Arts Center – will celebrate New Year’s Eve with the music of another, the venerable, sophisticated, listenable and danceable Bernstein Bard Quartet. An acoustic ensemble with fluency in jazz, folk, cabaret and the American songbook, the Bernstein Bard quartet uses the word quartet to denote the additional presence of the legendary Woodstock drummer Eric Parker (Steve Winwood, Joe Cocker). That means this is really going to swing. Admission is $45, $35 for Unison members. Ticket price includes one drink.
