Join the Woodstock Land Conservancy and birding guide Steve Chorvas for a memorable morning walk along the Lighthouse Trail Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m.
Currently the best place to view eagles in Ulster County is along the Hudson River, including the nesting pair of eagles at the Saugerties Lighthouse.
These once endangered birds-of-prey are now frequently sighted in the Hudson Valley. At last year’s event many participants enjoyed their very first up-close eagle siting. All WLC events are kid friendly, free, and open to the public.
Meet at the Saugerties Lighthouse Trail parking lot. Please carpool if possible. Wear appropriate footwear for possible snowy/icy trails. Walk will be canceled if raining.
