Students headed to school in the Wallkill School District got a shake-up Tuesday morning as a truck was pushed into their bus.
According to Wallkill assistant superintendent Brian Devincenzi, there was a “chain reaction” which resulted in the truck colliding with the bus at the intersection of Route 44/55 and Route 208 in Gardiner. Although emergency reports indicated that two ambulances were called to the scene, Devincenzi advised that neither students nor driver were among the injured, and the kids were soon transported to school on another bus.
