Jan. 17 update:
The snow emergency and parking restrictions declared yesterday in the City of Kingston will be in effect until Thursday, January 18 at 3 p.m. Until that time, vehicles must be parked off of the street or on the correct side of the street only. Today is an odd day, which means that vehicles may only be parked on the odd side of the street where there are odd house numbers. On Thursday at 7 a.m., vehicles must be moved to the even side of the street where there are even house numbers. Vehicles not in compliance with these parking restrictions may be ticketed and towed.
At 3 p.m. Thursday, the snow emergency and parking restriction will be lifted and vehicles can be parked on either side of the street. Municipal lots may be posted and temporarily closed in order to be cleared.
Due to holiday and snow emergency, trash pick up is as follows:
*Normal Tuesday pick up will be picked up on Thursday.
*Wednesday pick up will be picked up on Friday.
*Thursday pick up will be picked up on Saturday.
