Keegan Ales’ latest release “Fun” won the silver in the India Pale Ale category at TAP New York, the craft beer and food festival held at Hunter Mt. April 29-30.
“The craft movement has certainly grown by leaps and bounds since we opened shop,” said owner Thomas Keegan. “So it’s really an honor to be recognized for our latest release – especially in the crowded IPA field. Consumers are more knowledgeable and discerning. It’s great they appreciate the intricacies of the beer so, at the end of the day, we’re giving them what they want: fun.”
Another local brewery, Hudson Ale Works in Highland, took home the bronze in the same category for its beer, Citra/Mosaic.
