The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office recently received a donation of seven pet oxygen masks, thanks to the efforts of the Nothing But Love Canine Foundation. These specialized masks are designed to provide oxygen to pets experiencing respiratory distress, often due to emergencies such as house fires or accidents. By fitting snugly over the snouts of dogs, cats, and other small animals, the masks can deliver life-saving oxygen in critical moments when standard equipment may not be effective for animals.
The donation was marked by a visit to the sheriff’s office, where two K9 officers were present for the handover.
The Nothing But Love Canine Foundation, a nonprofit organization, focuses on supporting working and rescue dogs through a variety of initiatives. Their efforts include donating essential supplies, funding medical care, and fostering partnerships with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure that K9 units and other animals have access to the tools they need in the field.
The delivery of the oxygen masks was made possible through the continued outreach and coordination of Matt Hall.
