With the absentee ballots still uncounted in the tight Democratic primary race between Lily Korolkoff and Marcel Nagele for a seat on Woodstock’s town board, a recount has been set for 10 a.m. on July 2. Right now, Korolkoff leads Nagele by nine votes, 726-717.
County elections co-commissioner John Quigley said there were not enough absentee ballots alone to make a difference on the outcome of the contest.
In other Woodstock political business, July 14 is the deadline date to file notice of a July 24 Republican caucus.
