A 2020 Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into a building and a person at 1122 County Route 23B in Catskill on Monday, May 19, according to state police.
The investigation revealed that the driver, Reis L. Quick, 24, of West Shokan, “crossed over the westbound lane and exited the shoulder to the left of the roadway, subsequently striking a commercial building”.
Police reported that a 21-year-old female from Leeds was also struck by the vehicle. Her injuries were reportedly not life-threatening, and she was sent to Columbia Memorial Hospital. Quick was uninjured in the crash.
The incident occurred at approximately 1pm. Quick was issued multiple traffic tickets.
