A motorcycle crash into a deer resulted in a fatality in Saugerties on Tuesday, April 29, according to police.
Around 8:25pm, a Catskill man riding his motorcycle southbound on Charles Smith Road collided with a deer and died at the scene from his injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and the man’s name has not yet been released due to the need for next of kin to be contacted first.
The Saxton Fire Department and Diaz Ambulance responded alongside police.
