UPDATE: Police have arrested a suspect in their investigation into Tuesday’s early-morning shooting — Juress Brodhead, 41 of Kingston was charged with the felony of Assault in the 1st degree. He was remanded to Ulster County Jail without bail.
There was a shooting at the Wiltwyck Gardens Housing Complex early Tuesday morning at approximately 1am, according to a Kingston Police statement. One victim was injured in the incident, and was treated for their injuries, police say.
Detectives are on the hunt for an unspecified number of suspects and are actively pursuing leads. The investigation included executing search warrants at various locations in the city.
No further details about the shooting were available at this time. Police promised updates as they continue their investigation.
