Refunds available for Ulster County Pool season pass holders

Due to the unanticipated closure of the County Pool, season pass holders are eligible for a full refund. For more information about the refund process, please contact Jodi Corsa from the Department of Public Works (DPW) at 845-340-3103.

This update follows the recent announcement from DPW that the Ulster County Pool, located at 241 Libertyville Road in New Paltz, will be closed for the season due to significant water loss. The cause of the water loss has been attributed to underground piping failures. Engineers have determined that major capital repairs will be needed, necessitating closure of the pool for the 2024 season.

Where to find respite during heatwaves

The DPW apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause, and they are working with other municipal pool programs to support accommodation of additional patrons this season. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
