German Festival celebrated in Kingston

Robert Post Memorial Park in Kingston plays host to a German Festival on Saturday, August 17: a day of family fun, relaxation, German food, music by the Joe Unger Band and dancing along the banks of the Hudson River. German bratwurst, hot dogs and burgers will be available beginning at 1 p.m., with the main meal of roast pork and all the trimmings served at 4. Beer, soda and wine are included. There will be drawings for great door prizes throughout the Fest. Tickets cost $30; children under 12 are admitted free.
