Tav Falco’s Panther Burns will perform at Colony Woodstock, 22 Rock City Road in a show that begins at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.
It’s been 40 years since Tav Falco debuted his band Panther Burns in a Memphis cotton loft in 1979. Falco has recorded 18 albums and shared stages alongside such kindred musical spirits as Alex Chilton and The Cramps.
In 2019, Falco is on the road to support Cabaret of Daggers, a provocative blend of rock ‘n’ roll, blues, jazz and cabaret. Tav currently resides in Vienna, Austria and will be joined on this tour by his Italian trio. Peter Aaron and Sandrine open the show. Tickets are $15 in advance at colonywoodstock.com or by calling 845-679-7625. Or you can get them at the door on the night of the show for $18.
