Beacon Open Studios tour this weekend

Once a year, the artists of the City of Beacon open their studios to the public. This free weekend-long event has become one of the largest of its kind in the Hudson Valley and marks its 11th anniversary this spring. It all starts with a Kickoff Party and Exhibition from 6 to 9 p.m. this Friday, May 17 at the Oak Vino Wine Bar at 389 Main Street. The Open Studios will throw their doors wide from noon to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19. The Official BOS Closing Party takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bank Square Coffeehouse at 129 Main Street.

Participating artists for 2019 include Lindsey Abrams, Amy Baker-Selander, Michael Bogdanffy-Kriegh, Tanja Bos, Gary Buckendorf, Randy Calderone, Arabella Champaq Droullard, Caiming Cheung, Marieken Cochius, Chese Danische, Ruth Danon, Patricia Di Bella-Kreger, Jan Dolan, Toby Dunne, Krystal Floyd, Rieko Fujinami, Pamela Garfield, Darya Golubina, Cindy Gould, Diane Green, Amanda Gross, Martha Humphreys, Gemma Kahng, Tom Kenny, Philomena Kiernan, Justin King, Dale Leifeste, Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy, Sascha Mallon, Lee Meltzer, Caryn Morales, Naomi, Jean Noack, Virginia Piazza, John Procario, Peter Rednour, David Rich, Robin Rice, Chris Sanders, Gail Robinson, Matthew William Robinson, Rick Rogers, Melissa Schlobohm, Johana Skalsky Presence, Katie Small, Nancy Steinson, Kat Stoutenborough, David Swope, Jeffrey Terreson, Chris Ungaro, Emily Werb, Anna West, Jodi Yeaple-King and Charles Zuppardi.
