The Ashokan Center in Olivebridge celebrates St. Patrick’s Day in style, with a performance that recognizes the kindred connection between traditional Irish and American roots music. Seven-time all-Ireland accordion champion John Whelan teams with the Americana band Low Lily on Sunday, March 10. The program show will showcase energetic jigs and reels alongside lushly arranged songs, featuring fiddle, accordion, guitars, mandolin, double bass and vocals. Tickets cost $20 in advance, $25 on the day of the show.
