Led by grand marshal Doreen Shepheard, the 24th Dutchess County St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place in Wappingers Falls on Saturday, March 2 at 1 p.m., with lineup beginning at noon. Over the years the parade has grown to include more than 3,000 participants and entertained more than 10,000 spectators as it winds its way through the Village of Wappingers Falls. New this year is the Fun Run, a 1.4K race through the village with prizes for the top three finishers. The race begins at 12:45 p.m. Visit the website for more information and a parade route map.
