The Ashokan Center hosts Requiem for Ashokan: The Story Told in Landscape, a conversation lead by artist Kate McGloughlin on Sunday, November 18. As part of Ashokan’s Catskill Conversations, the painter and printmaker tells the story of the devastation and upheaval that her ancestors survived during the creation of the Ashokan Reservoir. This multimedia event features McGloughlin’s artwork, projected images, sound installation, music and exhibitions, plus a question-and-answer session. Admission costs $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students. Children under 12 are admitted free.
