Town of Ulster announces leaf collection schedule

The Town of Ulster has released its leaf collection schedule for this fall.

The department asks that leaves be out and ready for pickup on the road edge on the date specified. Leaves will be picked up “loose raked” to the road edge or in bio-degradable paper bags. Bags are available for purchase for 40 cents per bag at the Ulster Town Clerk’s Office. Cash or check accepted.

Brush will not be picked up during leaf collection and should be stacked separately, not mixed with leaves. “The Town of Ulster is not liable for damage done to residents’ lawns,” says the department.
