The Vassar Haiti Project will present its 18th annual art auction & sale on the weekend of September 28, 29 and 30 at Vassar College. Hundreds of original paintings and thousands of handcrafts made in Haiti by artists and artisans will be offered for sale or auction. Handcrafts start at $5, paintings at $50. All purchases are 50% tax deductible. Sales directly support the livelihoods of literally hundreds of artists, and proceeds further benefit numerous programs in Chermaitre—a mountain village in Haiti unreachable by road.
