A highly acclaimed practitioner of Songhaï music, with two Malian National Arts Awards for Best Singer, Sidi Touré performs at the Falcon on Saturday, July 14 at 8 p.m. The band features Sidi Touré (vocals/guitar), Baba Traoré (bass), Mamadou “Mandou” Kone (drums), Djadjé Traoré (electric guitar) and Ousmane “Papou” Dagnon (n’goni). The band is touring in support of Sidi Touré’s fourth release, Toubalbero.
