All seven Democratic congressional candidates vying for the 19th Congressional District nomination will meet for what may be last debate before the Primary at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5 at Congregation Emanuel, 243 Albany Avenue in Kingston.

The candidates will meet questions in a debate format that organizers hope will go beyond the sound bites that have so far defined the campaign. Audience questions (gathered and vetted in advance) will dip into areas not covered in previous forums. Moderators will use follow-up queries to challenge stock answers.

The debate is sponsored by the Brotherhood of Congregation Emanuel. The event will be held in the social hall of the Congregation. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
