Monday, May 28 will be Kingston’s traditional Memorial Day ceremony, set for 1 p.m. in front of City Hall. At 1:45 p.m., the parade will step off from Andrew St. and will proceed along Broadway towards Uptown Kingston. The city has announced following special parking rules and road closures: • There will be no parking on either side of Andrew Street from Mary’s Avenue to Broadway from noon to 2 p.m. From 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the following streets will be closed to traffic: • Broadway, from Andrew Street to Clinton Avenue • Albany Avenue, between Broadway and Clinton Avenue • Clinton Avenue, between Pearl Street and Main Street • Main Street, between Clinton Avenue and Wall Street • Wall Street, between Main Street and North Front Street • North Front Street, between Wall and Dietz Stadium • Washington Avenue, between North Front Street and Lucas Avenue (local traffic only) From 3-4 p.m. Joys Lane, between Grandma Lane and Lucas Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
