Reggae vocal group Culture featuring Kentayya Hill, a touring and studio powerhouse since the ’70s, performs at the Bearsville Theater on Saturday, May 19 at 9 p.m. Culture garnered US and international acclaim for its long series of classic “roots” albums, including 1977’s Two Sevens Clash, which was acknowledged by Rolling Stone Magazine (April 11, 2002) as #25 of the 50 All-Time Coolest Records (the only reggae album to make the list).
